Trefor Pier

 Trefor Pier

Dive area below the pier

Trefor can be an excellent dive for trainees and experienced divers. Parking is available by the pier and access to the water is provided by steps at the harbour wall. A 60m swim along the wall side is required to get to the pier. Visibility can be poor here and there are strong currents so dive at HW only is recommended. If the visibility is good (can be >5m) then the abundant life in late summer makes this a good dive. The pier is used for fishing which provides lost bait food for the lobbys but be careful around the lines and don't give them a playful tug.
