Middleton Sub Aqua Club is a small friendly BSAC scuba diving club founded in Middleton, north of Manchester.  

Learning to scuba dive can be a life changing experience. It is very difficult to describe what it is like to visit the world under water and be close to wild creatures unlike anything on land.

People learn to dive for many reasons. Maybe you have had a taster course on holiday and want to take things further. Some people just want to try the experience or become part of the diving social scene. Some are interested in the wild life, some the archaeology, other photography but generally all enjoy getting out at the weekends and experiencing something that is seldom forgotten. Diving can help you keep fit, get you out and about to some beautiful parts of the country or just provide a group of friends to share in the wonderful past time that is British scuba diving.

Here at MSAC we have a group of instructors and divers to help you enter into the world of diving.

Whilst we all dive abroad in warmer waters, we mainly concentrate on diving in British waters and

unlike Caribbean resort dives, British waters can be cold and challenging. Don’t let this put you off, we have taught a variety of people and ages to dive safely and competently in British waters. Divers in British waters can see and experience things seldom found elsewhere.

As a British Sub Aqua club branch we use the instructions based on many decades of experience gained diving our seas and lakes. Tens of thousands of people dive in the UK and most are trained by BSAC clubs.
